We began 2025 the way we like to — meeting buyers face-to-face. In January, Snehal Creation exhibited at the CMAI 80th National Garment Fair, held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Goregaon (E), Mumbai, from 15 to 17 January 2025. It turned out to be another excellent show for us and a strong start to the year.
The National Garment Fair, organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), is one of the country’s most important apparel trade platforms. From Stall No. 3008, Hall No. 3, we hosted retailers, wholesalers and boutique owners who had come to Mumbai from across India to discover fresh collections and reliable manufacturing partners for the new season.
This edition, our spotlight was on Anarkalis, kurtis and tunic-tops — the styles our buyers ask for most. Visitors browsed rack after rack of new prints and silhouettes, from flowing Anarkali long gowns to short kurtis, denim kurtis, chikankari kurtis and coordinated kurta-pant sets.
What we value most about these fairs is the direct contact with buyers. Over three days we had wonderful conversations, took fresh orders, and collected a steady stream of visiting cards from retailers keen to work with us. Many of these first meetings have since turned into ongoing wholesale relationships — which is exactly why we keep showing up.
For a retailer, meeting a supplier in person answers the questions that really matter: Is the quality consistent? Are the designs fresh? Can they deliver on time?
